Boise, Idaho - December 9-10, 2006

The Idaho Chess Association announces that the Western Idaho Open Tournament will be held in Boise, Idaho, on December 9 and 10, 2006. The site will be at Horizon Elementary School, 730 N. Mitchell, Boise.

The tournament will be a USCF rated, five-round Swiss System, two section tournament, with a time control of Game/2. 1/2 point byes are available for 1-4 ONLY (there is a limit of one per player).

The entry fee is: $30.00 if received by 12/02/2006 (Under 18 and 60+ $20.00) and $40.00 for all after 12/02/06 or at the door.

Onsite registration at 7:30AM-8:30AM Saturday. Rounds are at 9:00AM, 2:00PM, 7:00PM, and 9:00AM, and 2:00PM Sunday.

Prizes are guaranteed! Open section: $225, $150, $75, $50. Reserve Section (rated under 1400): $150, $100, $50.
