Format: 6 Round Swiss System

Time Controls: 30/120 SD/60

Site: Shilo Inn, 1586 Blue Lakes Blvd. N., Twin Falls, Idaho 83301

Entry Fee: $35 (includes $10 ICA Membership) if registered by February 15, 2011. $30 (includes $10 ICA Membership) for Seniors (60+) and Juniors (under 18) if registered by February 15, 2011. $50 (includes $10 ICA Membership) for EVERYONE if registered after February 15, 2011.

E-mail entries received by February 15, 2011 will lock in advance entry fee.

ICA Membership: $10 is available separately for those wanting to join the ICA but not play in the tournament if received by the close of the Annual Business Meeting (which is Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.).

Current USCF Membership is required, available at site or online at www.uschess.org

Restriction: Open to Idaho residents only.

One Section: Open

Check-in and Registration: 7:30-8:30am Saturday, February 19, 2011. Those who fail to check in or register prior to 8:30 a.m. may not be paired in the first round.

Round 2: 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011
Elections/Annual Business Meeting 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., Sunday, February 19, 2011
Round 3: 10:00 a.m., Sunday, February 20, 2011
Round 4: 4:30 p.m., Sunday, February 20, 2011
Round 5: 8:00 a.m., Monday, February 21, 2011
Round 6: 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2011

1/2 point bye (Available for Rounds 1-5 only. Limit of 1 per player. Must commit before second round pairing.)

Prizes: Trophies or plaques: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall; 1st: Class Expert; 1st, 2nd: Class A, B, C, D, E, F, Woman, Junior, Senior, Unrated.

Tiebreaks: 1) Head-to-Head (if 2-way tie only); 2) Solkoff; 3) Median; 4) Cumulative of Opposition; 5) Cumulative.

The following ICA Rule (affectionately known in Idaho as "The Buckendorf Rule") will apply: A player who withdraws from the tournament is ineligible to win any prize.
